Hi,
Recently upgraded to a Samsung Galaxy S6 and something is going on that's driving me up the wall that never happened on my ancient S3 !
With the Facebook app open, the small Messenger icon in the top right corner of the Facebook app is continuously showing 2 unread messages even though there are no new messages.
If I click on the icon, it takes me into my Messenger messages (no unread messages) and if I then go back to the Facebook app, the red notification has gone from the Messenger icon. Next time I check Facebook the notification is back on the Messenger icon.
I've cleared cache on both Facebook and Messenger but that hasn't helped.
My current android version is 5.1.1 and current Facebook version is 59.0.0.15.313. I can't actually find the version number for Messenger.
Any ideas how I can cure this ?
