Root Metamorph Themes Installation(new metamorph)

I just rooted my Huawei M835 phone from Metro PCS a couple of days ago. I installed Metamorph and some of its themes. When I downloaded the themes from the internet I would always press extract file, then I would compress it and then i would copy it to my sd card's folder which is AndroidThemes. So when I went to the Metamorph app and pressed Pick Existing Theme i selected my theme and after that it says the theme you selected is invalid. blah blah blah. So how do I fix this? I need really specific advice because I am pretty bad with this android stuff. Also some new themes would be nice. Please respond, I am really frustrated. by the way i still have the default rom
 
since you are rooted you should post in the m835 - all things root section , but anyways ... i recommend using uot kitchen cause you customize your own theme. And it sounds like the theme isnt compatible with your phone .
 
it basically replaces(flashes) the stock pngs on your phone with the installed theme , all through the app . no recovery needed
 
Stick to CM7 for the ascend and CM7 themes as it's fully compatible and it doesn't slow the phone down but i'll look into this for you.

well could you post the link for ascend because i have cm7 loved it . i used cm7 nightly for u8150 .. i had a little stability issues causing me to switch ...
