Metro and Tablets???

Does Metro have any plans to venture into the world of tablets??? If not is there any way to use a tablet from an other company on their service???

it's been talked about, so i'm assuming there are some in testing... as far as utilizing a tablet on metro's service... i don't see why not, but i would probably wifi tether it to the indulge and/or other lte phones as they become available. 1x is painful...

I here you on the 1x deal. I have the Acsend phone, and 1x totaly sux. I will be getting one of their 4g phones this month.

A 4g tablet would definitely be nice. My 12 yo son wants a tablet so bad, and other than getting a wifi one, we're not about to enter into a contact with a big phone company to get one at a decent price.

I am sure grown ups like me would like that too...:D:rolleyes::);)

Since using WIFI seems to be my best option, does anyone have any recomendations on what tablets to look at.

I've never played with it, but I've been told and read some things that make me think the Archos 70 Internet Tablet is a fairly decent one. The specs look good.

I've seen some others that are fairly decent in price and have some nice specs, but I'm tending to lean towards the aforementioned Archos 70.

A tablet would be nice for those who have adopted them. I would really consider getting one in the next year or two if metro improves their LTE coverage and reliability. Another good point would be if they offered unlimited data for no more than $30 - $50. :)

Me too! They sure rock! their HD capability is phenomenal! :D I been shopping around trying to make up my mind for the last 6 months between Samsung galaxy 10.1 Motorola xoom and iPad 2...

i'd have to go samsung for sure. the xoom is nice, but motorola always has battery/charging issues galore on their devices. i mean for a cheap $100 phone i could deal with that to a degree, but not for a device that costs as much as these tabs are... i don't think i could actually purchase an apple product. i can't stand behind any company that can't make simple things like mms happen until their third generation of software/hardware...

Has there been any new information on the subject of metro and tablets? A buddy of mine was asking and I had to tell him I had no idea

I can figure it out, but I need a GSM tablet as donor to try to work on the configurations etc, I already got one to work, but the method isn't sure shot.

I have the Galaxy Note 8 WiFi version 5110 and that tablet rocks. Their specs and capabilities are comparable to my Galaxy S4 but with bigger screen.
