Help Metro PCS Android System Update

Subzero79

Newbie
Have the LGMS323 with Metro. After months of not being able to download update due to "space" issue the update somehow downloaded but not sure if I should install since phone is rooted? How do you remove new pop up or delete the update? Clicking on "later" doesn't work (see images).

If your rooted, you should NOT update, since it will update to the C firmware. Which breaks root. To disable notifications from it, long press the notification and see app info. It will show a checkbox that says "Show Notifications". Uncheck that, don't worry about there notifcations. It'll only ever show a notification of Google Play Service if there's an update like this.

If you upgraded to C firmware, I don't know what to tell ya other than this:

*This is gotten from another thread I posted on*

If you really don't wanna risk harming your phone. My friend used this tool to downgrade to B firmware.

Find the firmware here:

Root after downgrading to B firmware:

Also, disable the notifications for google play services, not the entire app.

No i DIDN'T accept and install the upgrade but it downloaded to my phone and is taking up space now.. was just wondering if there is a way to remove the download? Is it ok to uninstall updates of Google play service? Phone still rooted and appears to be working ok. Thanks!

Not sure, look around the files in your computer/root explorer app. Not sure if Computer can find the files, if not. Try a Root explorer app to find the file.
