If you paid in advance then the payment is just sitting on your account as a credit. It gets used to pay your bill when the due date comes. If the due date has already passed, then you paid for a service that you decided not to use. I don't see Metro giving you a refund if that is the case. You paid for a service, switched carriers and decided not to utilize what you already paid for. I could see online chat or a phone call offering better help than a corp store. Good luck!
