MetroPCS ‘Buy One Get One’ Smartphone Deal for Black Friday

Here is the fine print from MetroPCS:

BOGO Instant Rebate: Limited time offer. Requires new line activation or a phone upgrade. Between November 19, 2015 and November 30, 2015, buy a phone from a MetroPCS retail store or authorized dealer, and receive, subject to availability, an additional $19 instant rebate off of regular purchase price on a ZTE Obsidian phone, an additional $29 instant rebate off of regular purchase price on an LG Leon LTE phone, and additional $39 instant rebate off of regular purchase price on a Kyocera Hydro WAVE phone, or an additional $49 instant rebate off of regular purchase price on a Samsung Galaxy Core Prime phone. Offer not available online at metropcs.com or at national retail partner locations. No rain checks. Both phones must be activated on the same account, on the same day, at the same location, at least one line must be new line of service. BOGO rebate only available on phones of equal or lesser value than primary phone. May not be combined with MetroPCS Switcher instant rebate offer. Limit two BOGO Instant Rebates per customer and/or account. Device selection and availability may vary by store. Restrictions apply. While supplies last.
 
Exactly.....depending on the cheapest plan u can activate it on I guess but even then...u would still be paying the price of a phone with paying with a month of service...i don't understand what is so good about this deal.

It's a way of getting NEW customers not for existing ones :(

Hey if they offer BOGO on S6, ok lets be real... how about BOGO on Grand Prime or LG G-Stylo? Then I am sold.

All these retailers (BB, Costco, Staple) coming up with 300-350 rebate on flagship phones, MPCS needs to step up with mid-high tier phones. BOGO on $29 phone with activation of new line won't draw much attention to the existing customers...

Yes...í almost wrote @ Stylo or better specs.
If my memory doesn't fail me last year the Avant had been freefalling in price, then was raised a smidgen @ included in the 2x1?
At any rate, even if I'm wrong...í would find this attractive for the Stylo.
And mandatory activation on both balances out sale discount.
