Just my 2 cents. I don't really see a need for that mod considering the stock music player has a pretty nice EQ and/or you can use Poweramp from the app store which makes it sound even better and it well worth the 3-4 bucks.
I have goodness rom and installed Ac!D MOD with goodness volume boost which is awesome. I believe you csn use acid just be careful what settings you put in.
