Is there a good equalizer out there that makes the volume loud. I hve one but it still sounds low? Any suggestions

Not really. Ive tried a bunch over the years and haven't found one that works well. There are mods that raise volume levels a bit but they need to be ported into the rom.

My issue was mainly over music not being loud enough as my hearing sucks. Getting a better set of headphones fixed that.

try rooting your phone, than flash a rom with the volume mod. Goodness and Metropolis just to point you in a good direction.

Theres an app I used to use called "equalizer" doesnt really raise the volume...but if you turn the eq all the way up, it sort of helps...sort of. Its better than nothing i guess...

Also, there are roms available that have that volume boost mod. I think axis rom might be one of them. Im sure there are more.

Some roms like Hyperrom give you the option to add a "volume booster" but I'm not 100% sure it works.

I've tried this app awhile back when I had the Ascend, and it Really boosted the volume sound. I havnt tried this for our s3 yet, but you can give this it a try: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.projectvoodoo.controlapp

Edit: Nvm, apparently we have to have a kernel supporting extended sound controls to have it working for the s3 :/

I wanna thanx to everyone. My phone is root and I have the latest Metropolis. I also have the equalizer that looks like a 1/2 circle but in yellow or something. But its still low

I thought Acid works well with Touchwiz ROMS

There are EQ's out there that will do it. However you may also blow your speaker on your phone, and that would really suck. There is a really nice free program for your computer called Audacity, and you can install that with the LAME MP3 Encoder. From there you can tweak any of your MP3's and then put them back on your phone.
