How do I permanently remove the MetroPCS home page from bookmarks? It's set as the default home page.

Go into settings, then general. That will give you access to change your homepage

dont think you can actually permanantly delete that one.. due to some metro apps auto-linking to it etc.. not that you actually need it for your day to day use.. but it's just in the code..

if it's only a homepage issue, than what you can do is decompile the app and manually change it in the stings.xml to whatever you like i chose google, so even on a fresh install of the rom your homepage will already be set as google...

thats all i know of, there 'could' be an easy way to perm delete it, i just never tried hard enough because wasn't that big a deal lol hope this helps

I opened the database /data/data/com.sec.android.app.sbrowser/databases

edit the SBrowser.db file

go to bookmarks table

then change URL to google or whatever.

Unfortunately this just gets rid of the bookmark, but metropcs.mobi still shows up at home screen. Any ideas how to get rid of metropcs.mobi for good?
