Root [MetroPCS/CDMA] Metro and Tmo.What now?

I've read a statement straight from metro ( its on their website) that the merger will allow for better cellular service. Any ideas if our current 4g speed will increase? I live in nyc and its abysmally slow.

Geez I work in Midland Michigan and there is no T-mobile service out here. T-mobile is horrible in several part of Michigan. I might have to drop Metro but we'll see in the near future what takes place.
