Hi guys, I wanted to get some feedback on this subject... I currently have a 32 GB Lexar micro sd card thats been giving me major problems for some reason after about 2 to 3 weeks my phone and computer stops reading my card and I have to reformat it... This mess started when I had the LG Esteem (same card) ... I still have a warranty on it... But I was browsing Best Buy website and they have a 64 GB SanDisk that I really want to get while it's on sale.... My question is what brands of micro Sd cards do you guys preferably like from experience... Lexar is bottom on the list for "me"... Too many problems! Thanks guys... Any feedback would be great!

I had a lexar card that went bad in anything I put it in. I got a SanDisk 32gb class 10 ultra and it has been fine so far. I have had it for about four months now no problems.

yea same here I just sent my third lexar card back it lasted week and a half. So if next one dies then getting refund and gonna get either a scan disk or samsung card

I have a 64gb Sandisk Ultra and I love it! I have had it for about 7 months with no problems.
+1 i have had mine since i got my esteem. had it for over a year now and its working great. also have one for my girls asus transformer tablet and it works great in there as well.

not saying sandisk the only trustworthy brand but they do stand by their product so if any shall ever have any issue with one of their product line such companies as sandisk always are there to make sure their customer are happy.

And Sandisk stands by there warranty also, and will replace it no questions ask. :D

Samsung micro sd uhs1 class 10 is even better and almost twice the speed of sandisk class 10 micro sd cards so if u spending big money on the class 10 than better buy Samsung one as it works better witg our sg3 leaa problems compared to SanDisk as some users had reported

You are wrong on a few things bud, Ultra class 6 is double of sdhc class 10, and micro sdxc is the fastest of them all. ;)

And with anything Man Made will break eventually.

Sandisk had some issues with their initial batches of class 10 64gb micro SD cards. They used to break randomly when used with the s3. but they have since released a "fixed" version. They are also willing to exchange broken cards for new ones at no charge other than shipping I think. I've been using their 64 GB card in my s3 and it's been reliable for at least 4 months now. I'd go for it if I were you

I have the SanDisk 64GB card, too, and it's been dependable the whole time. Fun fact: Best Buy will now match just about any price online, especially Amazon. Show them a better price in the store, and they will match it. I didn't know if everyone knew this already... That's how I got my SanDisk super cheap! ;)

wow cool i didnt know that. would be better to pull out link on phone and show them instead of waiting for shipping.

I tend think of these sd cards sort of like lightbulbs. They are mass produced and tend to work well, untill suddenly, they dont.

i have a dumb quick question do i transfer all the files that are in my built in phone storage to my external sd card.?? cause i notice some roms wipe out the built storage card
making it difficult to go back to your already saved back up nam

I see alpt of people have mentioned having 64 GB cards.. Can our s3 even support that size? I thought 32gb was max...

You can. I've done it many times. Bought an HDMI cable for the adapter to stream to the TV and on Amazon it was 6 bucks best buy was trying to get me to spend 45 :0. I also bought a hand held HD Kodak camera for 95 and best buy was trying to sell it for 250. -___- yea try your luck next time ;)

Newegg has samsung 64gb class 10 uhs1. Microsd card on sale for $50.99 with codeEMCXPWM53 best micro sd better than sandisk

Never say something is better than something else.... That's like saying Chevy is better than ford or vice versa. I cant say samsung brand is better than Sandisk or sandisk is better than samsung. All we can do is give our feed back on what we have used or are using.
