Root [MetroPCS/CDMA] MMS quality question

I remember reading about how when you send a pic the quality gets shitty, and it just happened to me and I know it's a setting to fix it. Can anyone help me out to change the max MMS size when sending? I'm running CM10.1 btw
 
I think that can only be done with a 3rd party SMS/MMS application. I use Go SMS Pro and can set it up to 5MB.
 
the cm guys still havnt bother fixing that issue ever since we found the prob with the mms in the first place with all aosp roms then pg sent them the fix they just took the fix and integrated it into their updates and havnt even bothered tweaking it. but easy work around take any of the roms we have here made by shabby for example black beans and just take the mms.apk and swap it with the one on cm and it might work not entirely sure since i know cm are on 4.2.2 now but give it a try. the actual issue is within mms.apk it needs to be set not to compress images so much.
