Root [MetroPCS/CDMA] Multi-Window on 4.2.1?

God knows I've tried... but apparently I just don't have the know-how to pull that rabbit out of hat.
Still looking into it...

So far, it seems not enough people are requesting it, so it doesn't get much attention from the Devs. :o
But I gotta agree - the Premium package would be nice to have...

BTW - Did you mean "4.1.2"?

I'm hoping the devs can pull it I'm a fan of multi view

Aye, I would as well... and not just MultiView... there are several features in the Premium Suite I'd love to see on our latest update;
Reader Mode, Low Light Shot, the new Gallery, and the customizable notification panel, to mention but a few... the lack of MultiView is the only thing keeping me from using our latest update as my daily driver atm.

For those who don't need it, it's a fancy gimmick, or 'luxury' at best... but for some of us, it's an important aspect that saves the day - on a daily basis.

Because of MutiView and pop-up browser alone, I can now do my job away from my PC... I'm no longer tethered/chained to my Desktop like a slave. lol

i am terribly interested in teh low light shot, havent heard anything about reader mode though.

i dont consider multiview a priority, its mostly because teh work vs gain. there is around 10 files that need to be added, then you need to make give or take 200ish lines of code change to support it (and you cant just simple look at the differences because they are on different updates/mods code). i tried my hand at it again with 4.1.2 and after several hours the phone would still just bootlooop. that isnt saying much as im far from a smali master (fairly clueless actually), but my issue is the next update we get this entire process needs to be redone.

anything short of that isnt "porting" it to our devices its using another phones files. im sure if you took teh needed files out of chemistry and tossed tehm in metropolis it would prolly work but that is a dirty port and can cause issues with conflicting code. id much rather have mods/themes made for our devices (its why i post a list of stuff in my thread and it doesnt include variouys things that work on most sgs3's).

edit: seriously someone needs to invent swiftkey for desktops, im tired of looking like a 6th grader who is 20 with my spelling skills :P

Brotherman, I was an Magazine Editor, Author and Columnist for years, and you write as well, or better than most of my writers/authors ever did. lol

As to the TW thing - all the work you've done for us/this phone already is more appreciated than any of us will ever be able to express. ;)

You, LD, PG, Air, Nutty, Pnut, ARock, Naaasty, Edgeez, et al... we'd be nowhere without you guys... sure, there's 'other' forums, but I'm PROUD to be here on AF because of you guys, and the easy-to-relax-in and helpful atmosphere that can only be found on AF.
(Plus, we have some of the best Mods here too)

:congrats:

CShabby is right its a lot of work.... we really need a smali master... ive been working on this thing since some ofbthe first metropolis... and I have the flashbar on there and can launch apps...at the moment still working on getting the screen to split which is where the smali master would come in. ...

Side note Swiftkey is the shizz
