Root [MetroPCS/CDMA] myMetro app on custom rom?

I have a myMetro-d2mtr.apk in my dropbox that I have been trying to install, with no luck. I have tried everything from installing it to moving it into the system apps folder and fixing the permissions - maybe I'm doing something wrong (I've read something about an odex/deodex file, or something like that?) but every time I restart my device "myMetro has stopped working" pops up.

I'm running the CM rom, if anyone can give me some advice, or if anyone has the metro files in a flashable zip, it would be greatly appreciated.

Most stock and Provider apps will not work on a non-TouchWiz rom.

try pushing it with android commander or the android wonder sideload machine or simply grab the apk and place it in the system/app folder

Mymetro app will not work on any aosp roms.
