Root [MetroPCS/CDMA] Pac-man

Those who've tried this out for our s3... how's the battery life been compared to other ROMs... Since I'm on a 4.2 ROM(chaOS) I'm feeling trying some other ones out as well... I'm afraid that I might have picked up the obsessive-ROM update disorder(ORD);) ...

Fantastic

I installed this rom yesterday & so far I'm liking it a lot. I'm not a heavy user so my battery life has been great. I have yet to try the new update yet. One thing I do miss though is the transparent status bar on the lock screen from AOKP. (Figured it out)

Like the rom so far...but where's the option for allowing slider shortcuts even when you are using a pattern password?...

I haven't seen a password protected lockscreen with shortcuts. That would defeat the whole purpose of a password protected lockscreen

Well no I mean like in touch wiz you can swipe on the lockscreen shortcuts and it will still ask for a patten after...maybe aosp doesn't have it?...

Has anyone messed around with the performance controls setting...id like to know what type of settings are ideal for battery life?...

I keep mine at 1512 max 594 min with the governor on demand , but I also flashed the bms kernel & cross breeder. Right now I'm at 50% with 16 hours used but I'm a light user.

Thanks for the information...usually my device will last barely eight hours with light use...it's confused me quite a bit and whenever I'm on Chrome my battery will drop significantly faster than say on tapatalk...are you using the frandom bms kernel?...

Yea I am. I don't have chrome on my phone because I have found it to be a battery killer. I'm always on WiFi too. When I was on aokp I could squeeze 12 hours on 4g with medium use.

Awesome man...do I download the bms from the crossbreeder thread right...and is it just wiping dalvik and cache to flash kernel...also...did you mess around with the governors and io schedulers...if so which did you believe is the best combo of performance and battery life from experience...sorry for all the questions...I rarely mess with tuning kernels :)...

That's the thread. I just wiped dalvik & cache then flashed. I only set the governor to ondemand that's what works best for me. Keep a backup on your sd card card too , just in case. Hope I could help some.

Backup of the ROM?... If so don't worry im always prepared ;)... Imma be researching more about kernels as well... Can't know enough... And thank you so much for your help man... I really appreciate it ... it has just gotten to the point where ten minute on an app can bring battery down for to five percent...

Same here. Didn't realize until you mentioned it.

I can receive then just fine... They fail to send... Now I feel guilty... my friend just sent me some... colorful texts due to my failure to reply... Little did I know that all my responses had not sent ;)...
