Root [MetroPCS/CDMA] question about fast charge...

seems like a nifty feature. anyone had any issues with this? has your phone overheated or your charger short circuited or has anyone fast charged over night and awaken to a phone that has melted or exploded?

any info would be helpful.

it made my phone charge so fast.....

What is this fast charge you speak of? Is it a feature on a certain ROM or do you need a special charger?

I know its on AOKP. You have to enable it in quick setting toggles.
