So I tried to update the phone to mf2 since Ive ben running the original firmware and using odin I cant get passed the metro boot logo. It turns on and off not a problem...but getting it to work work is not happening...is there something I missed

I don't have a back up of nothing. I lost everything when I accidently deleted my emulated folder a cpl weeks back. I was running carbon rom using twrp. I can get into download mode but that's about it. It just bootloops at the metro logo

I cant get into recovery. I can get into download mode but cant get into recovery. Once I start up the phone it goes to the Samsung thing then the metro pcs logo pops up and it stays right there. My notification light blinks but its stuck at that stupid logo lol im forever getting myself into stuff like this

make sure its not plugged in, hold vol up home and power while its turned off. wait til you see the blue text then let go of everything (not the phone though). that will show ya a screen of the android laying on his back red arrow etc (or the one with blue crap in his chest, its hard to keep track of whcih devices has what recovery these days)

i wanna say hit power or scroll up and down and the menu will appear

its def the one with the red arrow lol ok so now that im here what do I do? it says on the top in blue that its android system recovery if that helps. it sorta looks like cwm

Scroll down with the volume keys and press the power button on factory reset. Then scroll back up to reboot, and you're good to go!
