MetroPCS to Include Free Hotspot With All Plans

Even before this was a benefit, tethering from my OnePlus One to a Nexus 7 worked without issue. I did not need any additional apps or settings adjusted on my phone or the tablet. It just worked. I have since tried to repeat these actions and I have not encountered any issues.

I don't know about @confed, but I'm using the MetroPCS APN stickied on this forum. I have no issues tethering using my BYOD 1st gen Moto G. I've tethered a Nexus 7, Samsung Galaxy Tab 2, my kids Alcatel OneTouch Evolve (bought it for use as strictly a WiFi only device), and even my work iPhone 5S (the stupid Verizon iPhone doesn't allow simultaneous voice and data). I haven't done anything except turn it on and set it up with a password of my own choosing rather than the random password automatically setup.

See, I liked you since the S3 days. You are correct with what I am doing as well. I read the threads and tried the options. I've been using the same APN since I got this phone a year ago. No issues tethering with my wife's OPO and I used the default settings on my mom's Moto E with no issues as well. She used to use her phone to tether her tablet when she was at the shore. So easy, a senior citizen can do it! Haha.
