Help Mezmerize songs KEEP SKIPPING!!!!!!!!!!!!!

when useing my Samsung galaxy s i listen to music a lot and when i do the songs will randomly skip, just like a scratched CD. i have looked everywhere and tried everything from beating my phone to re-downloading the apps to using standard apps but alas nothing works!!!!!!!!!! it is very irritation because one of the reasons i wanted this phone was to listen to music and i cant even enjoy that. SO anyone who can help me Please do before i break my phone or worse decide to send dirt messages to Samsung and us cellular.

Could it be possible that you have too many apps running in the backround.
I've had similar happen when trying to play music on my computer. If a program takes too much processor, the music will stall till the music program can have processor resources again.

Is your app or your music files on your SD card? How well is the card seated in the socket. If you search this site, I seem to recall another user with a similar situation and it was the SD card connection that was flakey.

It's probably skipping due to other apps running in the background. The Mez has a single core processor, so it can only do so many things at one time.

Also, are you using the stock music player? Third party players like PowerAmp are a little better for music.
