Help mhl adapter for htc one x

Hi can you use a mhl adapter for the one x to watch movies etc...heard differing reports if so how many pins I'm presuming 5 , if ok which brands work , I'm a tight wad so the

Samsung, I searched for SG2 on Amazon, their MHL was cheaper than HTC's.
