Root MHL available w/ root?

So I have seen a bunch about OTG connectivity when rooted.

I was wondering about MHL connection. Does the Nexus 7 support and work with MHL adapter?

I would really like to hook this up to a big screen TV at work if I am just sitting around waiting for work to arrive.

Look up raspberry pi. Also 4TV android. Both are methods to connect to TV via Wi-Fi. I don't know if either support HD though.
