I have a note 3 and I use to be able to view my phone on the tv hooked up last night nothing go to mhl website tells me no mhl enabled wheres my mhl how did loose it

Try connecting the cables then rebooting your phone.

Tried it all visited the MHL site www.meetmhl.com says my phone doesnt have mhl

I have read that updating to Kitkat stops it working
