I've had my Galaxy s7 for a number of years now and haven't had a problem until a few days ago. Now when I record videos or call anyone while using my earbuds, the mic just emits a high pitched tone and wont pick up my voice at all. I am unsure if the problem is coming from my phone or my earbuds. I have tried three different pairs and the same thing happens, though they are all the same kind (Apple, with a cord). I have tried resetting my phone all the way to factory default and the problem still persists. There is no other problem with using earbuds, as I can hear out of them perfectly fine. Does anyone know how to solve this issue?
