Micro SD Card corrupted

HTC Thunderbolt 32 mico sandisk sd card

I just got a replacement phone today which I thought would resolve the problem, but I still cannot take pictures- or take them and save them.

I have tried unmounting and remounting.
Physically taking it out of the phone and re-trying, but nothing seems to work.

Could it be that the Sd card is just bad or is there something else I can do/ download (an app)

I simply just would like to take a picture or video and have it save on my phone ( can I switch my saving settings from the SD card to the phone in the mean time?)

Any help is greatly appreciated.

SD cards do go bad. If you have access to a computer with a card reader that can accomodate the card, reformat it as fat32 and then try and copy a file (any file
