Micro SD Files

I just changed my phone from an HTC to a Samsung after my contract expired. Now I want to use the same MicroSD Card since it has all my data on it, but I wanted to delete some unnecessary files.

Is it safe to delete these files?

For Example theres a folder of just Blockbuster movie posters,
theres a folder labeled Android/data/ and inside are folders for different apps but just cache files.

I even found some folders labeled after apps but theres absolutely nothing in them.

A good idea might be to backup all of the files onto a computer and then wipe the SD card.
If you're putting in into a new phone, I don't think you necessarily need any of the files, unless you need data like pictures or app data

This is a good idea. I'd add, if your not sure how the files work and not running out of space, just leave them on there. Everytime you install an app with access permission to SD card, it creates a folder to write to. Most times if you delete the app, the file it created isn't deleted. So unless your familiar with these files and know what they are and how/what apps, are using them, leave them alone.
