Has anyone was able to get extension USB cable for Android that would also transfer HDMI signal?
Here is what I would like to do. I would like to use one of millions converters out there designed for android phones that allow you to plug in from micro USB to HDMI. To view Android screen on any HDMI input device. I have purchased Menotek Micro USB to HDMI MHL Adapter IMPROVED WITH RCP (Remote Control Protocol).
What I would like to do is run one cable to my phone instead of two like I am doing it right now. The actual adapter has a really short cord so it has to be dangling next to the phone. I have to run two cables to that adapter, one usb for power then other one HDMI. I would like to extend the actual cable that plugs in to the phone. Which seems like would be just your regular USB cable. I have tried numerous usb extension cables and none have seem to work. I am wondering if anyone out there was able to find micro USB extension cable that would also transfer HDMI signal?
