Help MicroSD 32g wont format or mount.

so i got my microSD card today only to have my sgs2 not be able to format or mount it. im thinking i got a dead card. here is what my notification says:

Could you put the MicroSD into a SD card adapter, and try to read/format it (try FAT32) on a PC?

If that fails then probably a bad card. If it can be read/formatted on the PC but not the phone, then I would try a second mSD card.

The PC won't even detect it so i'm guessing it's a bad card.
