Help microsd card and bluetooth

ijay2001

Newbie
1) Can we use a 64 GB sd card with this device ? Will it not slow down the device
2) Can I use a class 10 microsd card ? Anyone using this card? If so, is it 32 GB or 64 GB.. and what is the company of the card Samsung, Transcend etc ?
3) Can anyone recommend good stereo bluetooth headset that have wire and small clip like interface ?

Pl. suggest based on your personal experiences only..

Yes you can and no it won't. However, having a lot of media files, whether they're on the SD card or on internal storage, will slow down the media scan, so you might want to install Rescan Media so you can turn scanning off until you need it (which is on boot and any time you make a change to the media files - adding or deleting one.)

I always use SanDisk. There are only 2 manufacturers of the chips that go into the cards, Samsung and SanDisk, and SanDisk is a better company to work with if you have to. I'm only using a 32GB Extreme Plus card now, and it works fine.

No headset suggestion - I don't use stereo headsets.

Ok.. any clue on headset and if 64 GB will be fine ? Will ultra be fine.. if I want to take photos etc (quick shutter) or do I need extreme ?

Extreme is faster than Ultra, but the camera processing is slower than Ultra, so it should be fine. (A Ferrari can't go too fast in a traffic jam - the process happens as slowly as the slowest part.)

A 64GB card will work in the Grand.

I don't use stereo headsets so no clue. I can point you to a good Bluetooth earset for phone calls, but that's all I use. (Motorola and Jabra are good for those.)
