Help MicroSD Card Not Detected

Lurker
Greetings,

I recently received a second hand Galaxy Mini from my aunt. It was her son's and he was pretty young so it had a lot of dents and scratches. Good thing they applied a good heavy duty screen protector.

Everything was smooth and clean when I made the switch except for the SD card. My microSD card is 2GB and I don't know what brand it is. It works when I insert it in my old Wave525 as well as an external card reader on my laptop. Is there anything I can do to fix this at home without paying for anything?

Does the phone see the card when inserted? You may have to go into the settings and mount the card. If it mounts and the phone still won't read the card, you may have to format the card.. using the phone to do so. Good luck.

Welcome to AF. I hope you enjoy your Mini and these forums.

It doesn't see the card. The mount option isn't available and cannot be clicked.

I dont have the option to mount or format the SD card. The phone states memory is there but phone now telling me it has full memory.
