MicroSD for Moto E

About to get a Moto E (mainly for backup phone) will any MicroSD work? I want probably a 16Gb for apps, games, music, podcasts. I've heard there was a problem with Kingston MicroSD on a version of Android v4.1/4.2 I think. Is this all sorted now for v4.4?

Any recommendations? I'll get a class 10, so for eg there is a Kingston class 10 for

Personally, I don't trust anything but Sandisk.

Also, microSD brands have nothing to do with Android releases. If anything, some phone might not support 128GB microSD card and you have to use 64GB. As a matter of fact, I just googled this topic and found only mentioning of 64GB support by Moto E. For recommended brands, probably a better idea to visit Moto E dedicated section on AF and post a question in there: Motorola Moto E - Android Forums

Well bought a Kingston 16Gb class 10 seems to be working fine so far.
