"Microsoft about to get scroogled"

Hah, scroogle...

That's a very interesting article though. The fact that big companies are actually making AIO PC's with Android is something that I've been waiting on. Sure, I've 'installed' android on my laptop before...did it work? Not at all.

Microsoft's folly is that in order to do something, you need to buy X software for $$$.

The problem being, that they charge too much. Google has it the right way. Buy the hardware. And well, the rest is more or less up to you if you want to buy a new app or not. Sure, some keyboard are amazing and worth the money. Will you live without it and your phone/tablet/etc work fine? Of course.

So, we'll see.

TL;DR:

Microsoft won't be around much longer. Google/Apple will be the only OS manufacturer besides the Linux derivatives.

For 25+ years I've felt like I was in some kind of parallel universe. *I* got what a total rip-off M$ was, and how UNIX and then Linux were so vastly superior to anything M$ put out, yet the masses blindly stayed on the M$ bandwagon. I freely admit that I'm getting a certain kind of evil pleasure out of the various downfalls M$ is experiencing. It's like, IT'S ABOUT TIME!! :D

I like the Samsung Galaxy Note ads better:

"We just got Samsunged!"

It's rather ironic that MS would care anything about privacy, especially with the infamous Outlook/Outlook Express, given their rather, shall we say, "colorful" history (remember the exploited 'auto message preview'?)

They have similar ads downplaying browsers other than Internet Explorer, while i sit there sarcastically asking 'Who still uses IE these days?!'

lol IM Chrome all the way for all MY devices,
MS also gave backdoor access to the NSA for its outlook Services and Skype, Their watching us.

yeah they are nothing but blatant hypocrites. i think MS is just jealous that they are no longer top of the pack.

I saw the comment for ms getting their just deserts while linux has always been better. The only thing I can say to that is it depends on from whose perspective. Consumers live ms because its cheaper, and has plenty of games. While for artists, its mac os, for us geeks, linux is the way to go :p (this is on desktop/laptop) in the mobile space, we have linux and Unix. That's pretty much it. (Nvm the whole ms windows phone LOL) ios is Unix, while android is linux (as confirmed entirely in my recent post by someone else..)

Although, ill get back on topic. I giggled a little when I saw that post, because I agree :p

It says, "Internet access is required, and not included." Can I just use my 3G connection, or do I have to stay with my cable account?

edit: oops, never mind... that would get back into tethering.
