Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync dissapeared

Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync no longer exists on my Samsung. I want to display my business appointments from Outlook in the Calendar app (whether Outlook or Google Calendar), but the account will not appear anywhere. If I want to create a new account under the device settings in the Accounts area, the option Exchange ActiveSync is missing. The strange thing is that I can insert the Outlook e-mail address in the Outlook Mail app and synchronize it correctly with the e-mails.

Does anyone have any idea how I get the appointments from Outlook back into the calendar resp. How can I add the Exchange ActiveSync account? Thank you very much!

Try restarting your phone, and then go back into Settings >> Accounts and check again to see if the MS Exchange ActiveSync account entry is still missing (might be shown as Outlook or Exchange )

Looking at the MS Outlook app page in the Play Store, it's currently at version 2.2.248. If you go into your phone's Settings >> Apps menu is the Outlook app on your phone also up to date? Presuming it is, if you check the Permissions option in both the Calendar app and the Outlook app, are there any entries there related to the other?

If you have a Google account with any non Gmail accounts from different sources (ie) Outlook, live, Aol etc, without using Exchange ActiveSync. Google's G-mail API will substitute for ActiveSync, including appointments birthdays and to-do list.ETC
