Hello,
I recently switched from an HTC One S to a Samsung Galaxy S3 (4.1.1 on T-Mobile).
I'm using the stock Email client on the phone and having a weird issue when syncing with the Exchange server. After syncing, the contact names on the server have been changed to be First Name Last Name, whereas I have them sorted by Last Name, First Name. And it only changes the names after I've texted or called the person - it doesn't do them all at once. If I open the contact on my laptop, it "looks" like it's OK and nothing has been changed, but it's sorted differently that it should be. I have to delete the name out of the Full Name spot, click somewhere else, go back to Full Name and put the info back in again. I can't just delete the name and put it back in for some reason.
On the phone, I have them listed as First Name Last Name. On my laptop, they're sorted as File As, and I have built them with Last Name, First Name or Company (Last Name, First Name).
I don't really care how they're sorted in Outlook, but I hate that the phone is changing the name and getting the sorting all out of whack. I don't really want to change 500+ contacts to First Name Last Name if there is another solution.
I never had this problem with my HTC One S.
Thanks for any help!
