It's probably not serious, but it looks kinda bad. Some idiot evidently put metal in the microwave oven, and now there are these sorta burn marks. There's one inside the door and another on the inside of the machine. Is there any way to get rid of them? Are they really harmful?

Use a mister eraser, or magic eraser, used for cleaning. Works like magic with burn marks.
