I was recently given a MID android tablet. This my first encounter with the android OS. It seemed to function OK for a while, but several times I have not been able to turn it on. The first time, I waited a while and made sure that the battery was fully charged. It turned on again. This morning I turned it on and the display flickered and shut down. When I plugged in the charger, it appeared to start up and function OK. I ran the WIFI Analyzer to check out the varying signal strength around the house. By lunch the battery display showed a full charge and I shut it down. After lunch I could not turn it on. I pressed the power button the requited 2 seconds with no results. I just checked and the red charging light has turned off, But I still cannot get the device to turn on. Any ideas what is happening or has happened to cause this malfunction. I am a rank novice with this device. Am I doing something wrong? I would appreciate any suggestions. BTW I have also installed an 16 gig microsd card. Thanks.
