Help Milestone 1 => Milestone 2

My Milestone 1 recently died , so I've decided to upgrade to the Milestone 2 and get it fixed when i can. Will I be able to put my memory card from my Milestone 1 into my Milestone 2? Or will I have to move all the data onto my PC and then onto the new memory card?

You can just take the card out of MS1 and put into MS2.

Nothing is stored on the SD apart from some application data, but you need an app to back up your stuff before moving.

hmmm...hopefully I'll be able to get my Milestone 1 fixed without having everything wiped off it. I've got my Milestone 2 in my bag, but can't do anything until I get home.
