I see my S5 turn itself on and off and on and off... with regularity every day. So much that it's got to be a bit of a battery drain. It didn't always do this. I tried Light Flow for a while, but it didn't help. Perhaps this is wakelock... but most of those apps require root. It happens with no apps running (I close in task manager and check after seeing it go on and off and still no apps in task manager). Would appreciate any advice... thanks.

Mine is very similar. How much battery are you losing over a period of time when your not using the S5?

I'll see the screen come on and off from time to time while I'm sleeping, goes from 100% to 90-5% battery six hours later. I'm wondering if it is updating software? Or?

I've turned off Amazon App Suite... that seems to have reduced the number of wakelocks... or screen on's... whatever they're called.
