Root MINI HDMI OUT. Does it work with root?

My new razr maxx will arrive today and i am eager to root the thing. I have a question or two though about post-root if anyone has had the experience i am looking for.

I was very accustomed to MIUI on my incredible2, is there a functional MIUI ROM for the razr?

If here isnt a MIUI working for the RAZR, what do you all suggest for debloating my phone? I cant stand the apps verizon forces on me.

Is there any experience with the HDMI-out not working with non-stock ROMs?

Is there a working wireless-tether app for a rooted RAZR maxx?

You should look up the SQLite Hotspot hack. Then you can use the built in tether function.

I tried the MIU beta that is out probably a month ago but no data for me and no HDMI.

If you want a ROM and your HDMI I would stay away from AOKP and CM9 based ICS roms. There are a number of GB roms that work fine though or you can try the ICS leak.
