Minimum Android version for google play store [Resolved]

Hello forums,

I'm looking for new Android smartphone, because my HTC Desire A8181, manualy updated to Android 2.3.3, is too old to get google play store, battery problems and server errors with android market.

• I would want to know what is the minimum Android version to have google play store.
• Personnaly i have found a smartphone, it have Android 4.4.2, is it good ?

According to the system requirements for Google Play the minimum Android OS is 2.2, but it depends on your phone:

A phone with Android 4.4.2 should work fine, but check to make sure it's on that list.
