Missed Call Pauses Music

I am trying to use my phone to play music when speaking/performing, and use both a Pebble and Bluetooth remote to control my music that is playing through a Samson Expedition Express.

I'm having an issue where even though my phone is on do not disturb, my music playback pauses for a couple seconds once I miss a call. Is there a way to stop this from happening, or perhaps a way to turn off my cell service when I don't want to receive calls?

Im not sure that i understand u well, but what about flight mode?

If you're using it for performances, you definitely don't want to be receiving calls, put it in airplane mode.

Samson Expedition Express, that's an all-in-one PA thingy isn't it?

can separate - boy music player: the other will not work (so constituted android)
or... airplane mode or... pull out the SIM card
