Help Missing "Data Traffic"..?

Hello~

I just upgraded my android from 1.6 to 2.1 and I noticed that my phone was using data (3G / H symbol) but there's no option to turn it off.. not in the "Mobile Networks" menu, and I don't have the option to add the widget either from the home screen... and I think its really killing my battery, the phone runs out of power in a few hours of minimal use.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

An app lIke "DataSwitch" on Google Play Store should be able to turn your dats off and on.

I would run a repair to reload the firmware as this is far from normal:

1. Before you start you have to download the PC Companion software from Download for PC - Sony Smartphones (UK)
and install it on your PC.
2. Once installed on your PC, double-click the PC Companion icon on your desktop to start the update.
Note! For some models you will be prompted to do a backup prior to the update and then restore.
3. Install and open PC Companion then select Support Zone.
4. Phone Software Update.
5. Start.
6. Repair Phone
7. Continue
8. Accept data removal
9. Next
10. Wait for prepare
11. Select Phone
12. Follow the connection steps
