Bizarre problem, several icons are missing at a system level. Whether I look in my launcher, pixel launcher, or system settings, the correct icon is missing and replaced by a generic system icon. I have uninstalled and reinstalled these apps, rebooted, and cleared the launchers' data without any effect. Have also cleared cache & data for Google play store and play services. What is weirder is they're not even replaced with the same kind of Andy icon! This is a 4 day old unrooted Pixel XL running Oreo, September security patch. See attachments for examples - both these applications fail to show their true icon anywhere in the operating system.
