After HTC Android update my contacts and dialing key pad icons are missing, how do I restore them?

Hi, welcome to Android Forums, sorry it's taken a long time to get back to you.
Try going into your app drawer, find the dialer app and press and hold the application for two to three seconds (this is called long pressing). You should feel your phone vibrate and the home screen should come on, you can move the icon where you want from there. You can do the same with the contacts.
