Missing keyboard

[Android Question]

I can't seem to pull up the keyboard function when I am commenting on facebook with my Galaxy II Note. I see a drawing pad with 123sym, a mic icon, a A/1, an EN/US, a <- all on the top and a touchpad below this, no keyboard. Please help.

Welcome to the forums.

Long press the mic symbol. You should see a pop up with options including a keyboard symbol. Press that and you have the keyboard back. An alternative is to pull down the notification bar which should also have an option for changing the input method
