I enrolled in auto-boost about a year ago. I'd been reluctant to do so because frankly I don't like giving out my CC info and allowing companies to charge my account willie-nillie.
When I signed up for auto-boost a year ago, I had a balance of $9.90 in my account. Since then, they've been billing my CC for my monthly bill amount and my account balance has remained the same. In fact, I've been meaning to change my auto-boost so that it would use up the $9.90 balance.
I switched carriers last month but kept the Boost account active in case I had problems--didn't want to loose my shrinkage level that took 18 mos to reach.
Well today I went to close my Boost account only to find that the $9.90 balance is now $2.70 Not a big deal, but, hey, it's my money! When I go into my account history, it shows no charges for the past 4 mos (that's as far back as I can go) and when I called CS they said the same thing---it's as if there never was $9.90 in my account.......I actually grabbed a screenshot of my account balance back in January, so I can prove they are wrong, but the bigger issue to me is that they took money out of my account without my permission and their system shows no record of it.
Something is wrong, and it feels like a cover-up to me. I know it's not a lot of money, but, if they took even $3 a mo. from everyone's account, that would add up to a LOT of money......
