missing new message notifications? :/

hi guys,

in the last few days ive noticed that im not getting flashing led for new messages, and sometimes the new message notification icon doesn't appear either :/
...I thought it was an issue with Messenger app, so switched to the stock Sammy one, but that has same issue :/

anyone seem ssame?

...just did the new os update - but issue still there

Same thing happened to me too, I actually noticed AFTER the new system update. I thought my phone was crapping out on me. Good to know I'm not the only one. Sorry I can't be much help, I did try a few things and no luck.

Id you haven't figured it out yet, settings > notifications > messages (toggle "on"). It worked for me. Idk how it got turned off, but it did.

thanks for the setting info.
I'm new getting new notifications which is great [emoji2]
...but I have noticed that when using the stock message app, that the notification doesn't clear after you read a message...you have too swipe it away [emoji53]
