Hi, well, dumb move, was on my phone storage via my win7 computer, the storage/emulated/0 directory was empty and I thought it was a duplicate/bogus directory that some app mistakenly created, as I normally see this dir only inside the phone, and I deleted it.. quickly pressed cancel but windows had already pulled it, and... everything else on the phone entirely in like 2 seconds! I can see NO FILES at ALL now on the device. Windows thinks the memory on it is almost totally free. All my user data appears missing. The phone itself is still running along normally, but obviously the apps dont see their own data files either.
AAAAHHHH!!

How can I reverse this deletion to bring the file structure back? None of the data was "actually" deleted AFAIK, just directory entries.
I have a 13 year background in computer repair and have done data recovery, but Android phones arent exactly a hard drive that a typical recovery program like Recuva can access.

HTC One X+, 4.2.2 AT&T, unlocked not rooted
I have not rebooted
I have not added or removed any more files
Still connected to computer on USB. Debugging is on

I need to know exactly what to do next before I cause any further damage.
-try an android undelete program? Does any exist that can recover directory trees?
-call a repair shop to use specialized equipment, where they would boot the device into a special access mode?
-If I reboot the phone would, if I'm lucky, that special "0" directory be recreated and my files reappear? or would that be super bad, as a new instance of that dir would make the original lost?

If I am up sht creek cause androids are so rediculously easy to mess up this way with instant deletions and zero recovery, I can settle for a recovery tool (free or paid, I'll pay!) to locate all my files at least, but if I have to put them all back into directories manually, omg..
I seriously hope the android file system has deleted=true flags that can be flipped back!

THANK YOU for replies!!
