MLB App short refresh time a problem?

Hi everyone. I've been using the MLB app widget on my phone but I'm worried about the fact that the longest time you can set the refresh time to is 1 minute. That means every minute my phone needs to refresh that widget.

I'm mostly worried about battery life. Is this the kind of thing that will cause excessive drain?

Best advice I can give you is to try it out one day, and compare it to the next day without it and see what kind of difference it makes for you.
