Love MLB.TV and have always watched game videos on my iPhone in years past.
This year (2012), I'm on a Droid (Samsung Galaxy S2 via AT&T) and as of today (March 18, 2012), I'm not able to watch baseball game video on the Droid.
I'm an MLB.TV Premium subscriber, but didn't notice this very subtle disclaimer when subscribing:
Now you can watch every out-of-market game LIVE or on demand on your favorite mobile devices including: iPad, iPhone, iPod Touch and select Android phones and tablets.
It says "select" Android phones and tablets. Didn't see that. All I saw was the bold print of:
Android Devices: Go to the Android Market and download At Bat Lite. Open At Bat Lite and login with your MLB.com account. Do not purchase At Bat 12 from the Android Market.
SO BEWARE: Before you purchase this subscription for your Droid. Call or email MLB (866-800-1275 or e-mail customerservice@website.mlb.com).
Hoping MLB.TV corrects this issues and makes their service universally available on Droids. I'll update this post if things change.
FYI: The MLB.TV rep I had on the phone to learn about this issue said she has a Droid the service doesn't work on and has had several similar complaints to mine.
