MLH cable anyone?

has anyone tried an MLH cable with their nexus 7 yet?

if so how does it work?

would it be a good alternative to home cable? if you had internet would you be able to stream hulu,netflix or downloaded (marketplace) movies from your tablet to your TV?

Nexus 7 does not support MHL... no video out

I've been researching this for like an hour! Very frustrating!
You can use DLNA I guess, but you can't play Netflix with that.

Then I've been looking at this nexus Q thing, which costs $300 btw, and that only plays stuff you get from the play store. So there's no way possible to watch Netflix movies from your N7 on your TV. And reading reviews on the Q, the video quality isn't that good and needs to be worked out.

Oh well. It only cost $200. And the theory is, Google didn't include the HDMI port on the device so that people would get a nexus Q. But why would anyone pay $300 just to watch YouTube and overpriced rentals from the play store on their TV? Mind boggling....
